What they said about
energy yoga retreats:
"The perfect getaway to revitalise
body, mind and soul. A truly memorable and life-enhancing
experience. The accommodation was fantastic – comfortable
clean rooms with breathtaking views. These two weeks have
been life-changing in many ways..... I have found the stillness
within and a pure joy I thought was lost forever." Beki,
Turkey, October 2009.
"You've made me happy again and
I feel I have found myself. Bliss" Laura Steed.
"The experience will remain as something special; the
people, the place and the teaching." Sue Petrie. |

Fiona
is an experienced yoga teacher who had M.E. for 15 years. Initially
she was in a wheelchair but recovered, thanks to following
a yoga lifestyle and with the help of her mentors Angela Stevens
and Bill Feeney. In 1997 Fiona wrote Beat Fatigue with Yoga (Cherry
Red Books). She now teaches hatha yoga and yoga therapy full-time,
runs regular retreats for people with chronic health challenges
and spends much time in India studying Patanjali’s yoga
in depth. Fiona is a regular contributor to Yoga and Health magazine.
Fiona is continuing her studies, taking an
advanced teaching diploma (British Wheel of Yoga accredited)
in the Krishnamacharya tradition with the KHYF, through
Sarah Ryan and her personal mentor Gill Lloyd. Fiona is also studying Vedanta with her teacher James Swartz, a disciple of Swami Chinmayananda. She is registered with the CNHC as a yoga therapist.
Fiona believes that yoga is for everyone of any age and any
level of fitness.

"And Thank You for this
opportunity to be truly free
The veil of over stimulation stripped away to the Real Me
and this core I may ignore in the supermarket or the bus queue
When there's so many things I could be thinking or could do
So being still in the radiance of this special place, with special people
is like a seashell held to my ear, with happy times inside
so clear"
from a poem by Aine, written after
the Atami, Turkey retreat in October 2009. Click
