We will show you:
-
how to have a really really good laugh
-
how to work out what really makes you happy
-
why slowing
down helps your happiness
-
the value of humour in coping with
stressful situations
-
how to rediscover a more childlike sense
of fun and play
-
how yoga can keep your grounded, happy and
in the moment
In this workshop, as well as making you laugh a lot, we will
also be asking you to reflect on where happiness comes from.
Is it friendships, success, financial security, spirituality,
health, relationships, nature? We will consider all of these
possible answers - and be suggesting some more – and
generally have a good, happy time! So if you feel you
would like to really lift your spirits come and join us.
Jo Eadie from the UK Laughter Network will
be exploring the value of laughter, and helping you to discover
how to let go and enjoy good, proper belly laughs (see www.joeadie.co.uk).
Jo works with community health groups to help people to laugh
more when they need it - at the good times and the bad times.
Fiona Agombar will explore ideas around what
truly brings us happiness and how we can bring this in to our
everyday lives (see www.fionaagombar.co.uk). Fiona's yoga work
will include the nine secret steps to happiness from the Vyasa
ashram in India and a hatha yoga session to discover stillness.
Fiona is the author of Beat Fatigue with Yoga and
is a regular contributor to Yoga and Health magazine.
